Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp awarded “Australia's Best New Tourism Business” is located 25 minutes from Noosa, set amongst 65 acres of National Park and perched on the edge of picturesque Lake Cootharaba. With an array of accommodation options from campsites (powered and unpowered) to Glamping tents there is a solution to suit all guest comfort levels. Boasting a number of waterfront activities from stand up paddle boards, canoes, wave skis, kayaks and tinnie hire to the exciting sport of disc golf in a bushland setting. The Great Sandy National Park location extends a number of walking trails where you can get up close and personal with the abundant wildlife and discover the rich history of the region.
The Eco Camp is the gateway to 1 of only 2 everglades in the world, where the tea tree infused waterways and ancient rainforests provide a truly memorable tour experience. Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp is the ultimate Accessible Wilderness Experience!

Absolute highlight of the trip for sure! We spend a whole day trip at the stunning Double Island Point. This area is only accessible by four wheel drive so the pristine beaches are something only dreams are made of!

Experience a truly sustainable adventure into the Noosa Everglades. Immerse yourself in a pristine wilderness as you explore one of just two Everglades in the world. A stunning place of serene natural beauty – bursting with more than 44% of Australia’s bird life, and 1365 plant species. The Noosa Everglades system comprises magnificent lakes and the meandering Upper Noosa River wilderness. This unique landscape is best explored by canoe or kayak to really connect and experience its natural beauty and serenity.
2 x Morning group fitness class
You will work up a sweat in your natural surroundings guided by Brit and Shayelle.
2 x Yoga Sessions with Shayelle
You will learn to drop the ego and step into humility. Shayelle creates a unique style flow to encourage natural movement in the body, learn to slow down, breathe deeper and locate peace in an otherwise chaotic world. Her unique style of teaching allows you to connect with the present moment, exploring the depths of yourself as you gently improve your mobility and strength.
1 x Local Trail Walk/Run
We'll guide on a short hike to a stunning paperbark trail. Running optional. Spot the kangaroos.
Plant based cooking class with Britney
Britney makes plant based cooking both delicious and doable. You will learn the beauty of cooking from scratch allowing you to walk away from our retreat with a more sustainable and tasty approach to food that will service your health and the health of our beautiful planet.
Goal setting + mindfulness session
Be guided through a reflective session, guided journalling of your thoughts and really plan out and vision what you'd like 2024 to be for you.

Double Island Point Trip Highlight
Surf Australia's longest wave!
One amazing highlight of our retreats is our day trip out to Double Island Point.
Double Island Point is set in one of the worlds most diverse and pristine National Parks and offers incredible natural and aquatic experiences. Only accessible by 4WD vehicle’s along the beach, Double Island Point’s remoteness makes for spectacular natural beauty, a buzzing hub of local and migrating wildlife and a tropical surf playground boasting Australia’s longest wave.
Double Island Point is home to some amazing marine life with large bottlenose dolphin pods, humpback whales (June-November), turtles (Six of the world’s seven marine turtle species can be found here), rays and many types of local and migrating sea birds all frequent here. See the crazy soldier crabs in their thousands at low tide feeding around the lagoons. The spectacular coloured sand cliff views are another tour highlight. Situated along the stretch from Rainbow Beach to Double Island Point, the rich mineral sand dunes boast a highlight of 72 different colours and is a stunning backdrop.
During our day trip out to Double Island point, we will enjoy all of the on our private 4x4 vehicle, learning about history, flora and fauna from our experienced guide. A tasty plant based picnic lunch as well as the opportunity to choose from a surf lesson, dolphin view sea kayaking or stand up paddle boarding are on the agenda for the day. We are proud to include this on our retreats as an exclusive experience for all our guests!

Nourishing wholesome delicious food is one of our passions, and we love to share that with all our guests! Our food is prepared fresh by our seasoned plant based caterer Britney with as much local produce as possible (even using avocados from Britney's trees next door!). We are more than happy to cater for any dietary requirement/allergy/aversions that you have and aim to fuel your body with an amazing diversity of colours, flavours and dishes during your time with us! We have a range of different sleeping/accommodation options for you depending on your budget and preferences. Habitat Noosa has a two different rooming options - the Glamping (no ensuite) and the Luxury Glamping (Ensuite). We have a budget 6 share option as well the more comfortable option for quad and twin share. Please chat to us if you are interested but your option is not currently available, we can always talk to Habitat Noosa to see if they have more cabins available.
